sorry, but jeez, lighten up. yeah local81 said some kind of mean things to the spork person, but he is entitled to his opinion and since we live in the US (i'm guessing that this is true. i am also guessing on the gender of 81 because i'm too lazy to check) and it is supposedly the land of free speech, he has the right to say it withought persicution (even if the persicution is as trivial as being banned from a community). and i do understand that this is YOUR community and you can do as you please, but i'm just saying banning someone just for their comments that are not that offensive is not how i would have gone about solving the problem.
on a side note, i used to make some really awsome icons and they took very little time (how hard is it to cut paste and resize an image and put some sort of optional catch phrase at the bottom after all?) and i could care less on wether or not i was credited.

Actually, freedom of speech does not mean that one has the right to say anything without persecution. Freedom of speech means that the government can't make laws restricting your speech (though someone obviously needs to tell the FCC). The First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States doesn't say a doggone thing about persecution. In fact, the entire Bill of Rights exists to protect us from the government, not from each other. Persecution's fine. If you're saying anything at all controversial, you can pretty much expect to be persecuted.
